Qualtran & Vega Building Systems participate in Global Housing Technology Challenge 2018 in India

Global Housing Technology Challenge, GHTC, was announced by Prime Minister Modi with an objective to obtain best available innovative construction technologies from across the globe through a unique competitive process. It aims to transform the eco-system of housing construction sector in the country through lighthouse projects built using advanced proven technologies. It will foster the development of domestic technological research and building platforms for knowledge sharing and networking across the sector. Qualtran, an equity partner in Vega Building Systems has tied up with technology partners in the US to participate in GHTC.

Vega Building Systems, with renowned investors such as Developer David Cohen from Denver and Mike Ryan, who is the former head of Global Equities of Goldman Sachs, has developed a proprietary building technology which uses steel for rapid residential construction in India. We are excited about this opportunity and would like to scale it up for implementation not only in India but also its neighboring countries, said Mr. Sandeep Malik, the Co Founder and President of Vega Building Systems and CEO of Qualtran LLC, based in United States.
